Based in Paris and created in 2018 by Xavier Martín, French-Spanish designer and interior architect graduated from the Camondo school in Paris, the studio boasts an eclectic approach to creation without limits of domains, forms or styles. Based on the practice of interior architecture and design, it works at the crossroads of creative expression.
Interested in multiple design approaches, Xavier has multiplied professional experiences in order to discover different scales of work (private homes, restaurants, competitions, design of luxury boutiques, shop windows, event scenographies, etc.). From agencies to the luxury world, he very quickly wanted to discover other fields of expression based on independence and freedom of creation by forming his own studio.
He is constantly exploring new fields, including sound, textile and olfactory in 2020. Driven by strong and human values ​​of bringing together, sharing and confronting universes, Xavier likes to invite different talents to discuss and create on both professional and non-professional subjects.
In this logic of sharing which animates him he is also at the origin of the creation of the creative collective justmarried based in Paris in which he gathers and "marries" talents of very varied horizons (stylists, designers, architects , writers, artists, musicians etc.) in order to create and think without limits.
COMMITMENTS
We are living today in a time when we must be aware of the climatic and societal urgency, the urgency to act, each at his own level, by changing our behavior to find a more "natural", sensible and equitable world. The designer has a very important role to play in this context, by carrying values ​​and making choices along this path. Everything that is part of the daily life of populations, spaces, household objects and many others has passed into the hands of designers, it is therefore necessary that we integrate into our creations and our reflections intelligent and respectful choices for the environment and the people, thinking about the future.
This is why the studio is committed to work in this direction, by sourcing for example labeled materials and not resulting from ecological disasters (deforestation, etc.) or human exploitation by promoting the use of recyclable and / or recycled materials, by not using or minimizing polluting materials, by working with local craftsmen or by manufacturing parts in limited series directly at the workshop.
All of these choices are essential at our modest level.
